Surviving the stomach: Animal-based enzymes (such as pancreatin) cannot typically withstand the acidity of the stomach, which is problematic because acid reflux begins here.
GMO-free: We can ensure our vegetarian ingredients have no Genetically Modified Organisms, which can inhibit digestion and be counterproductive to the enzymes’ work.
Extra goodies available: Cellulase and amylase are both plant-based enzymes that pets do not normally secrete but are critical to digesting all of the plant material in their diets – thus liberating nutrients like zinc, selenium and linoleic acid that can be bound by fiber.
